Deep-fried crunchy thanks to everyone who has read, and listened to, Berlin Belly since we launched just a little over a month ago. OW!
Me myself, in the last month I also started an intensive German course, threw myself into full-time freelancing and launched this here website and podcast.
Tomorrow I’m heading to Morocco on a work mission: I’ll be updating the Travelettes instagram and twitter while I’m there, with everything from camel rides to henna tats, Berber villages, camping in the desert and lots more #tagine
So Berlin Belly will be somewhat quiet until I get back – until then here’s a few things you might be interested in this weekend:
Friday 9th October
- 100 Burgers book launch – book release party of 100 Burgers, a new art book by Laura Cherrygrove (Laura was our guest in episode four of the podcast).
- Did you notice that Burgermeister opened a new place at Kotti? With seats? SO MANY SEATS! It’s lovely and seat-ious. I christened it appropriately by partaking in some Sunday day-drinking with burgers last weekend.
Saturday 10th October
- The Green Market Berlin – Berlin’s first vegan/lifestyle market, the Autumn edition
- Bunsmobile Pop-up Brunch. Every Saturday and Sunday from October 10 to November 8, the Buns will take over the nice and cosy restaurant L’Eustache in the Schillerkiez.
